Personally, I was hoping to see Boedker make the roster. I think the kid's going to be a stud. It's a little disappointing, but it happens. I'm sure we'll hear from the young Dane at some point this season.

Split-Squad Games Vs. San Jose, It's A Win-Lose Outcome

The Coyotes faced San Jose in Glendale and in San Jose last night, that’s right. Some goofy split-squad stuff. Coyotes won at home, lost on the road. Defenseman Ed Jovanovski talked about the importance of preseason on AZCentral.com:

“’You want to develop the winning attitude at home,” Jovanovski said. “You can’t really turn things on when the regular season starts so we are trying to build in the right directions. I know they (Sharks) didn’t have a lot of veterans out there, but it was good. We worked hard and found a way to win.”
