Not a bad few days work for interim GM Jerry Dipoto. Rumors that he’s being considered for a position in Washington, D.C., to turn his talents towards the Federal deficit can neither be confirmed or denied.

Once again, we repeat that the real test will come this winter when we see how (if) the D-backs use that savings to rebuild the team.
