Former Fordham QB John Skelton has inked a four-year deal with the Cardinals, according to their official website.
While he looks to be a few years off developmentally, he has a good attitude towards the game. He is currently competing with former BYU standout Max Hall for the final QB spot on the team.
Over at Revenge of The Birds, they have this to say:
Skelton is a big-armed tall quarterback that needs time to develop before he can be considered ready to play in this league. Be that as it may, the potential in Skelton seems endless, and a lot of us have been clamoring at the idea of him being the future quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals if Matt Leinart falters this year.
