Danny Ainge, Kiki Vandeweghe Added To Potential GM List

ESPN’s Ric Bucher reports that San Antonio Spurs assistant general manager Dennis Lindsey is the frontrunner for the soon-to-be-vacant Suns GM position. The team has been granted permission to speak to Lindsey, though after Thursday’s draft.

Bucher also name-drops a couple of surprise candidates: current Boston Celtics GM and former Sun Danny Ainge and former New Jersey Nets assistant GM and interim head coach Kiki Vandeweghe.

The list of potential general managers continues to be surprisingly legit. Will any of these big names be a part of the Suns organization after July 1st? We’ll see, but Sarver, regardless, appears to be performing due diligence.
