Gery Woelfel of JournalTimes.com writes that former Portland Trail Blazers Vice President of Basketball Operations Tom Penn could become the next General Manager of the Phoenix Suns, replacing Steve Kerr.

Tom Penn, who played a key role in the rebuilding of the Trail Blazers as vice president of basketball operations before being let go for “philosophical reasons,” could be in the hunt for the vacant Phoenix Suns GM position.
