The Phoenix Suns worked out 6 players today:

Ryan Thompson, 6’6", SG/SF (poss. PG), Rider
Tyren Johnson, 6’7", SF/PF, Louisiana-Lafayette
Jerome Jordan, 7’1", C, Tulsa
Anthony Mason, Jr., 6’7", SF/PF, St. John’s
Hamady Ndiaye, 6’11", C, Rutgers
Art Parakhouski, 6’11", C, Radford/Belarus

Interesting batch of players, none of which could make an immediate impact in the Suns lineup. The Suns could be preparing for Amar’e and Frye to leave town, and possibly Amundson as well.

These players all fit those molds, but it is logical to prepare for all possibilities. I don’t expect all three of the players named above to be gone by next season.
